Cognite wins new project with Grosvenor group

There’s another feather in the Cognite cap and we’re really eager about this one. This project involves development and design for the Grosvenor Group’s new website that will be built on SharePoint as a Content Management System.

The Grosvenor Group has been in the property business for more than 300 years now and own investment and fund management companies around the globe. Cognite is building applications for them while partnering with ‘the other media’ to do the design.

Cognite wins their Trust

Department of Energy and Climate Change to work with Cognite

DECC (The Department of Energy and Climate Change) have engaged Cognite to work for a project for them which involves web development and systems audit.

DECC is responsible for all the aspects of UK energy policy and tackling global climate change on behalf of the UK. Some time back, they launched a website encouraging people to reduce their carbon footprint.
DECC wanted Cognite to do a technical assessment of several elements on their website along with some development on those elements. Cognite was very pleased to be working with them on this project.

DACS launch second phase of CRM

DACS (the Design and Arts Copyright Society), a not-for-profit visual arts management organisation has been working closely with Cognite as a new CRM system was being developed by them for collection and distribution of royalties. With Cognite’s help, royalties that previously took weeks to process, now take only minutes. This is indeed an achievement for Cognite, especially since DACS are extremely pleased with the successful outcome.
Not just that, DACS now want Cognite to work on the second phase development.

DACS is UK's leading copyright and collecting society for artists, this year alone, paying out over £3 million of royalties to visual artists. Our CRM solution  would improve DACS’s business processes, resulting in an efficient system for management of funds that are eventually distributed to artists”, said Stuart Mair, Projects Director at Cognite.

This is a classic example of ‘doing it right’ with regards to Microsoft’s Dynamics CRM.

Cognite Develop Healthcare MIS platform

Leading Healthcare provider Cerrus Ltd have engaged Cognite to develop a Management Information System module to add to their award winning Saturn healthcare application. The Cerrus Management Information System (CMIS) module CMIS was developed using the Microsoft products Silverlight and SharePoint.

Cerrus Ltd, a market leader in the Community  Health and Social Care sector, through Saturn they provide a care and support management reporting systems that covers Care, Operations and finance.

Cognite’s SharePoint and Silverlight Consultants were contracted to deliver the new CMIS module.

Cognite support development of Healthcare platform

Northgate Information Solutions (Northgate-IS)  has  engaged Cognite as one of their critical partners in the development of their World Class Commissioning (WCC) Desktop based upon the SharePoint platform. Northgate, a market leader in the public sector, provides software applications and outsourcing solutions across public safety, local government, education and human resourcing sectors.

The requirement was to build an application that provides comparative information for local commissioning activity and healthcare outcomes for patients. Microsoft’s SharePoint and Silverlight technology were identified as the core business application platforms and  Cognite’s SharePoint and Silverlight Consultants were contracted to deliver expertise and technical development to assist with the tight deadlines imposed.

ALCS takes leap forward with Cognite

ALCS- the Authors Licensing and Collecting Society- has decided to take a technological leap forward by contracting Cognite to re-develop their website. Cognite developed the new website for ALCS based on a CMS tool called Inigo.

The new site will integrate with ALCS's back office system, providing members with a seamless access to both the website and internal systems. Cognite is a leading developer in IT services and has several years of experience in the field.
